Offices near Blackfriars station at 16-18 New Bridge Street
Blackfriars is a minute's walk from the door of 16-18 New Bridge Street, with National Rail, District and Circle services from it. Offices near Blackfriars station do not get much nearer than that. St Paul's is nine minutes on foot, Mansion House and Temple eleven, Farringdon twelve for the Elizabeth line and Thameslink, and Chancery Lane twelve for the Central line.
A station with a foot on each bank
Blackfriars is the only London station whose platforms span the Thames, so it has an entrance on the north bank and another on the south, and it ended up with two postcodes. The roof built over the Victorian railway bridge carries around 4,400 solar panels across more than 6,000 square metres, which made it the largest solar bridge in the world when it was completed in 2014. There is a small historical oddity too: the mainline station opened in 1886 under the name St Paul's and only became Blackfriars in 1937.
What that means for an occupier
